After joining the Chamber, your business or organization and all of your employees become members. All employees of the member business or organization may take advantage of membership benefits and features.
All members can opt-in to receive the Chamber's weekly electronic newsletter full of Chamber and Community events and announcements. Members are encouraged to submit content for our e-newsletter. Please refer to the Benefit Matrix and Additional Benefit Descriptions for limitations and pricing on other posts such as sales related notices. Monday at 12pm is the deadline for newsletter content to be submitted in order to be included in that week’s edition.
We ONLY refer Chamber members! Any inquiries we receive; whether from an in-person visit, phone call or email message, are directed to our membership.
All Chamber members receive discounted pricing on Chamber events and products. Member pricing includes event tickets, vendor fees and items sold out of the Chamber office or at Special Events.
Place the Chamber's logo on your website for added credibility as a community supporter.
Place the Chamber's logo visibly for your patrons for additional credibility as a community supporter. All members receive an updated membership decal with their membership renewal to show their continued support.
Every GCCC Member in good standing receives one vote. Voting usually takes place at our Annual Meeting in June but may also happen at additional meetings called by the Board President throughout the year.
Business Before & After Hours Events
These events are exciting business social events that provide an excellent opportunity for Chamber members and prospective members to network, establish, and renew relationships. All members are invited and encouraged to attend our Business Before/After Hour events. This is also an opportunity for the host to showcase their business or celebrate a special occasion or anniversary. Additional information is in our BBH/BAH Hosting Guidelines packet; please inquire with Chamber staff.
Brochure & Business Card Distribution
Place your brochures and business cards in and outside the Chamber office and the Chamber's literature racks located in the Moody Building Lobby. These materials are also used for referrals as well as included in visitor and relocation packets.
Let the Chamber assist you with your grand opening or to showcase recent renovations! Ribbon Cuttings can be private invitation-only events or larger public events similar to a BBH/BAH event. Chamber staff will help coordinate with local media and invite local elected officials if applicable.
These events are held in the morning, lunch hour or eveningfrequently throughout the year. Each session has a different focus some example topics include: Social Media for Small Business, Advance Directives, Press Releases: How, When & Why, and Maximizing Your LinkedIn Profile. Chamber members are welcome and encouraged to attend a well as lead these educational sessions.
Branded Swag at Chamber Events
Members are invited to supply the Chamber office with branded swag for their business or organization that will be displayed at the Chamber's primary events including; President's Awards, Annual Meeting, Fall Festival and Annual Auction Gala. This is an excellent opportunity to leave a lasting impression with other chamber members and community members.
